Volunteers Spent the Day Spreading Awareness About Sexual Assault

Volunteers were also at Big Apple Bagels in Superior to spread sexual assault awareness

SUPERIOR, Wis. – Volunteers were at a number of Superior businesses like the Red Mug Coffeehouse, to staff sexual assault awareness resources tables.

The volunteers spent the day spreading information about sexual assault.

The resource tables were provided as an outlet for survivors and for others hoping to learn more.

One volunteer says its important to spread the awareness with the community.

“I think it is a very important topic for people to realize because it is really overlooked people focus on the offender rather than the victim,” said Ashley Sikorski.

Volunteers also staffed the sexual assault awareness resource tables at UWS and Big Apple Bagels.
