Superior’s Restaurant Week is Still On

Restaurants are only doing delivery and carry out these days but that isn't stopping this year's event from happening.

SUPERIOR, Wis. – In the midst of the coronavirus pandemic, Superior’s restaurant week is still on. 23 restaurants are offering special dining deals all the way through Sunday.

The goal is to raise awareness about the unique variety of tastes offered by Superior restaurants.

“I think this is an industry that needs it and I think that this is an industry that the food and beverage industry is an industry that people can safely support during these times,” said Taylor Pedersen, the president and CEO of Superior-Douglas County Chamber of Commerce.

These are unprecedented times so participating restaurants are required to offer delivery, take out or curbside service only to follow the governor’s orders.

“There’s a lot of people really hurting at this time so I think it’s important now more than ever to support your neighbors to be good citizens to support those around you because we’re all in this together,” said Pedersen.

Superior’s Restaurant Week started in the spring of 2015. Some participating this time around include Big Apple Bagels, Bucktails Cantina, and Grill and Twisted Pastries Coffeehouse.
