Bennett Woman Struck by Train
BENNETT, Wis. – The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office says a 59-year-old Bennett woman was airlifted to a local hospital Wednesday afternoon after being struck by a train.
The accident happened on the railroad tracks between Olson Road and Bebe Road in the town of Bennett.
Authorities say the woman was on foot when the incident occurred.
The accident is being investigated by the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office and the CN railroad police.
The condition of the woman is not known at this time.
