CLOQUET, Minn. – Multiple organizations are working together to provide a free COVID-19 testing site for residents of the Cloquet area.
The Minnesota Department of Health is partnering with local public health officials to provide a no-barrier testing event for folks to be able to walk up and get tested in a really easy way from noon to 6 p.m. at the Fond Du Lac Tribal and Community College gym through Thursday.
There is preregistration online and registration is also in-person.
The nasal swab testing takes about two to three minutes in and out.
“It’s a great partnership,” said Ali Mueller, the emergency preparedness coordinator for Carlton County Public Health and Human Services. “We all are here to support our community and so we’re all working together to mitigate COVID-19 in our communities and to protect our communities as best as possible.”
So far, Carlton County has more than 300 cases with one death.
