Bentleyville Gift Shop Opens to the Public
The Bentleyville Gift Shop is open again to the public this year in a different way.
DULUTH, Minn. – The Bentleyville Gift Shop is open again to the public this year in a different way.
For the first time, the location changed to Grandma’s Sports Garden in Canal Park due to the need for more social distancing within the store and because the Tour of Lights is drive through this year.
The store has a wide selection of Christmas items, from mittens and scarves to snowglobes and other trinkets.
Staff members say the new location is both safer and more convenient during the pandemic.
“So being over here in the Sports Garden, we’re able to have more merchandise out, a larger area for social distancing and it’s just a lot more roomy and everyone can actually see the products we have,” said Abbey Bentley, a staff worker.
Customers say it’s great to be able to look around at the different things the gift shop has in stock to get some shopping done before Thanksgiving.
“It feels good,” said Randy and Cecelia Michaels, visitors from Park Rapids. “With everything going on, it’s good for the spirit. We saw the sign and said we’ve got to go look at the Christmas stuff right away. It’s awesome.”
The store is open from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Monday to Friday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekends.
