UMD Men’s Cross Country/Track & Field Coach Paul Nisus Announces Retirement
The Duluth native has been with the Bulldogs since 2010.
DULUTH, Minn. – Paul Nisus has announced his retirement as head coach of the UMD men’s cross country and track and field teams.
The Duluth native has been with the Bulldogs since 2010. He led UMD to the NCAA DII Cross Country Championships in 2017. On the track side, Nisus has coached several players that went on to become NSIC champions and set multiple school records.
Women’s head coach Laura Harmon will serve as interim coach of the men’s program for the 2021 outdoor track and field season.
