ST. PAUL, Minn. – Monday, Northland College’s Chelsea Meierotto was named UMAC volleyball Coach of the Year.
The LumberJills made huge strides under their second-year head coach, including a fifth-place finish in the conference, their highest since 2012, as well as hitting the .500 mark on their record for the first time since 2009. Meierotto, who played four years at UMD, coached two of her players to All-Conference Second Team honors: seniors Kennedi Bernia and Justine Litherland.
