UPDATE: Outages Restored; 911 Disruption in Douglas County, Wisconsin
UPDATE: The 911 outages affecting Northwest Wisconsin have been restored.
SUPERIOR, Wis. – The Douglas County 9-1-1 system is currently not functioning.
If you have an emergency and you live within the city of Superior and have local phone service, attempt to call 715-394-4432.
If you do not have phone service you will need to stop at any one of the three fire stations in the city.
Station 1 is at 3326 Tower Avenue, Station 2 is at 8th and Hammond, and Station 3 is located at 26th avenue east and east 5th street.
You can also stop at the Government Center at 1316 N 14th street.
If you live in rural Douglas County and you have local phone service, call your local fire hall non-emergency number. If you have no phone service, you will need to go to your local fire hall to report your emergency.
According to the Bayfield County Sheriffs Office, 9-1-1 services in the area were also down Monday morning.
