Duluth Marshall’s Gianna Kneepkens Named Gatorade Player of the Year
Kneepkens finished her high school career as the fourth all-time leading scorer in state history.
DULUTH, Minn. – Duluth Marshall’s Gianna Kneepkens is adding another award to her mantle.
Thursday, the future Utah Ute was named the 2021 Gatorade Minnesota Girls Basketball Player of the Year. Kneepkens wrapped up her career with the Hilltoppers, scoring a state-record 67 points in her final career game, which allowed her to finish fourth on the all-time scoring list. She was also a finalist for the Miss Minnesota Basketball award.
