Thrift Stores Experience Crowds of Back to School Shoppers
SUPERIOR, Wis.- As more schools in the Northland come back for the school year in these next couple of weeks, people are out doing their back-to-school shopping.
Stores like Goodwill are noticing an uptick in customers looking for clothes and books, and we found a lot of kids and families going into Goodwill, getting ready for the first day of school.
“We have really good prices on clothes, especially for children, and a lot of parents are shopping here,” said store clerk Corky Hizinski. “Our prices are less high than your major—well, most of your stores anywhere and a lot of our clothes—all of our clothes are donated.”
Buying new school supplies and clothing can be expensive. Places like Goodwill offer some of the items kids may need at a good price.
