Hibbing’s Ayden McDonald Records 1,000th Career Assist

McDonald is the eighth boys player in state history to hit that mark.

HIBBING, Minn. – Tuesday night, Hibbing’s Ayden McDonald made history once again as he recorded his 1,000th career assist in the team’s win over Badger-Greenbush/Middle River.

McDonald is the ninth boys player in state history to hit that mark. He joins Ely’s Mark Heiman and Lakeview Christian Academy’s Bjorn Broman as the only players from Northern Minnesota to eclipse the 1000-assist milestone.
