Superior Home Sustains $70K in Damages From Friday Morning Fire
SUPERIOR, Wis. – A home in Superior sustained $70,000 worth of damage after a fire broke out in the home early Friday morning.
According to the Superior Fire Department, crews were dispatched to the house at 1525 Clough Avenue around 12:46 a.m.
Fire crews arrived to heavy smoke and fire coming from the rear of the residence.
Everyone was confirmed to be safely out of the home when crews arrived.
Firefighters worked to contain the flames and remained on the scene for four hours extinguishing hotspots.
There were no injuries reported.
The fire department says the fire started in the kitchen oven.
The Superior Police Department assisted the residents with clothing and escorted them to a relative’s residence to stay.
