Annual Rose Show Comes Back After 3 Years
SUPERIOR, Wis.– The Lake Superior Rose Society brought back their annual rose show for the first time since 2019.
The L.S.R.S is a group that enjoys to grow, learn, and share their love of roses. This show gives the members a chance to showcase their flowers, and participate in a little friendly competition. With the rose being a diverse flower, each participant can enter in a variety of unique divisions.
“We have three divisions. Which is the Horticultural, which are single stems. We have the arrangement classes, that’s another division, its artistic work. Then we have the photographs, or photography division,” Lake Superior Rose Society President, Margret Anderson, said.
The Lake Superior Rose Society also volunteers at the Leif Erikson rose garden every year, starting in April.
