Coffee Conversation: Learning & Libations Fundraiser, ‘Trombone For Two’ Performs
DULUTH, Minn. – Music group Trombone For Two will be playing tunes at the Duluth Library Foundation’s 11th annual Learning & Libations fundraiser Saturday, Sept. 17 from 6:45 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. at the downtown branch.
Trombone For Two helped preview the event on the morning show Wednesday by playing three fantastic songs. See those below and hear more about the event in the video above.
The event raises money to make it possible for the Duluth Public Library to offer more programs, books, and materials to the community—all for free.
The after-hours library will be transformed by candlelight, black tablecloths, a live jazz band, wines, local beer and cider, and food from Bellisio’s.
And new this year, the foundation has joined forces with local beverage partners and library staff to bring curated book and beverage tasting pairings–all in the theme of banned books. Bent Paddle Brewing, Duluth Cider, Sober Sally’s, Ursa Minor Brewing, Vikre Distillery and Wild State Cider will all be there.
Guests can register for the event online at duluthlibraryfoundation.org or by calling the Library Foundation office at (218) 730-4262. Tickets ($85) will be available for purchase at the event.
