Maria Vollom

Hi! I’m Maria.

I joined the Fox 21 news team in June 2022, taking on multiple roles at the station. I currently serve as the independent Morning News Anchor, Producer, and Reporter.

Born and raised on the Canadian border in the small town of International Falls, Minnesota, my love runs deep for the Northland. I am a Bulldog alumni, graduating from the University of Minnesota Duluth with a bachelor’s degree in communications and journalism in the Spring of 2024.

Ethics are the cornerstone of my personal and professional life. I believe that integrity and honesty are indispensable traits to carry. Everyone has a story to tell; each one invaluable and should be treated as such.

I love sports! From playing hockey and volleyball throughout my youth to actively following Minnesota athletics today, my enthusiasm for competitive play flourishes on. This passion not only keeps me active and engaged, but also fuels my drive to deliver dynamic news and sports coverage that resonates with you all.
