Women in Black Hold Silent Vigil

Flag Still

DULUTH, Minn. — A silent vigil at the Minnesota Power Plaza this afternoon was held by the group ‘Women in Black’ in support of a ceasefire in Gaza.

Dozens of people, the vast majority dressed in black, were there in support of a ceasefire in Israel and Gaza.  Additionally, they demand that humanitarian aid be allowed into Gaze to save hundreds of thousands of lives, which are in peril.

Women in Black and Grandmothers for Peace are calling for everyone to contact their legislators and demand they support the Congressional Resolution calling for an immediate ceasefire and an end to the killing in Gaza.
