Enger Golf Course Closes After Good Season
DULUTH, Minn. –Golfers have just one more day to get out and play this season at the Enger Course in Duluth. The course closes on Wednesday afternoon at Five.
Tomorrow will be the end of what has been a very good season according to the Enger Course General Manager Craig Smith.
Despite the dry summer, golfers continued to play and Smith says the course was above budget for the year and the last few weeks have been very good also.
Smith said, ” Get out enjoy the outside. It’s beautiful out here with the weather, with the levees changing, and like I said earlier the course is in immaculate condition given that we’ve gotten all the rainfall we had. We’re all greened up and love to have people come out tomorrow for the last day.”
Work will begin in force in 2024 on the irrigation system, but Smith says at least 18 holes will be available every day, and perhaps all 27 holes on weekends depending on the construction.
