Iowa Wild Sign Former Thunderhawk Gavin Hain to Player Tryout Contract

Hain just wrapped up his five-year college career with the North Dakota Fighting Hawks.

DES MOINES, Iowa.- Former Grand Rapids Thunderhawk Gavin Hain will get a chance to latch on with the Iowa Wild of the AHL.

Just last week, Iowa signed Hain to a player tryout contract.

Hain just wrapped up his five-year college career with the North Dakota Fighting Hawks.

He was set to play for the Iowa Heartlanders of the ECHL before he signed with the Wild.

Hain has yet to play in a game for Iowa since the signing.
