DULUTH, Minn. — A local hiring agency is helping people start their careers in construction.
SOAR Career Solutions is teaming up with MnDOT to offer a free 16-week training program. Training starts January 9th and goes till May 3rd and includes learning math and safety skills, blueprint reading, and more through online classes and hands-on experiences.

And you are being trained on a job site and you’re getting all those hours of training and your part of a union and are getting taken care of and getting paid for and have an amazing benefit package throughout this whole time you know. So, it’s amazing opportunity for people,” said Nicole Bloom SOAR Career Solutions career specialist.
An open house will take place Wednesday at 5:30pm for those interested to learn more. The deadline to apply is December 28th. Go to SOAR Career Solutions website for more information.
