Man Charged in Coleraine Stabbing

Victim treated at hospital; Criminal complaint says suspect has 10 previous convictions.

A Coleraine man has been charged in a stabbing at a local bar over the weekend.

The victim was stabbed in the face, and was treated at the hospital for his injuries.

A criminal complaint charges Lawrence Jarmaine Daniels with a second-degree felony.

The complaint says Daniels is 45 years old and lives in Coleraine.

The incident happened about 1:30 Saturday morning outside the Locker Room Bar in Coleraine.

The complaint says someone at the bar told a deputy that they saw Daniels use a stabbing motion against another man, before running away.

Authorities went to Daniels’ home, and arrested him.

The complaint says Daniels has ten previous convictions, including seven felonies.
