Twins Play By Play Announcer Dick Bremer Retires After 40 Seasons with Team
He retires as the longest-tenured television broadcaster for a single team in Major League Baseball.
MINNEAPOLIS, Minn.- The voice of the Minnesota Twins is retiring.
After 40 seasons of being the play by play broadcaster, Dick Bremer is transitioning to a special assistant role in the front office.
Bremer joined the Twins back in 1983 when Minnesota’s games were on Spectrum Sports.
He’s called Twins games on five other stations following his debut.
