A Thanksgiving Staple Back At Burrito Union In Duluth
DULUTH, Minn. — A much anticipated holiday staple is back at Burrito Union in Duluth.
It’s the Thanksgiving Burrito! The burrito is stuffed with mashed potatoes, roasted white and dark turkey, sweet corn, and stuffing with a side of gravy and cranberry salsa.
The holiday food has been around for 14 years and over 4,000 burritos were sold last November. Usually, the bestselling burrito is about 400 a month.
The marketing director says the burrito is something the staff and community members look forward to.
“It’s crazy we can feel the hype coming up even all through October we had people calling, messaging us, asking ‘when’s the burrito coming out?’ And you can just feel the excitement from the community and our staff is getting prepared and excited,” said Jessica Naber, marketing director for Burrito Union.
And what goes better with the Thanksgiving Burrito than the Gale Force Cranberry Ale from Fitger’s Brewhouse? Both are available now at Burrito Union located on 4th Street in Duluth.
