UMD’s Cox Earns NSIC Special Teams Player of the Week Award
Made all six kicks Saturday vs. Concordia St. Paul
DULUTH, Minn.- The UMD football team’s reliable kicker is once again getting recognized for his steady play on the field.
Curtis Cox has been named the NSIC Special Teams Player of the Week following Saturday’s win against Concordia St. Paul. Cox knocked down both of his field goal attempts, along with all four point-after tries.
This is the second time Cox has received this honor in the 2023 season and the third time a UMD player received the award after DeShaun Ames was named NSIC Special Teams Player of the Week last month.
