The College Of St. Scholastica Annual Book Sale

DULUTH, Minn. — If you’re in need of a good read the College of St. Scholastica is hosting their annual book sale this week.

Book worms can find a wide selection of reads from health science, foreign language literature, fiction, and non-fiction.

Most books are 25 cents, and they even offer a deal where you can purchase a bag for 5 bucks and fill it with as many books as you can. Money supports different activities in the library such as National Library Week and helping pay student workers.

A librarian says it is wonderful to see people still reading physical books.

“Because the world is so full of technology right now and people are looking at their devices all day long and looking at their computers all day long. People start to get eye fatigue so, being able to pick up a physical book and just finding a nice quiet spot to read and flip through the pages is a very relaxing activity,” said Julie Rustad, Access Services Librarian for the College of St. Scholastica.

The book sale is happening all week and ends Sunday. And you don’t need to be a student to participate, all are welcome to stop by.
