UWS Men’s Hockey Drops Fourth-Straight in Home Opener

Yellowjackets back on home ice Saturday night

SUPERIOR, Wis.- The UW-Superior men’s hockey team remains winless four games into the 2023-24 season as they were shut out 2-0 against Bethel in their home opener.

This marks the first time the Yellowjackets have started 0-4 since the 2017-18 season. UWS went on to finish that season with a 9-15-3 record.

This was the first game of a back-to-back, with UWS hosting St. Mary’s (Minn.) Saturday afternoon. In their matchup last season, UWS went on a scoring tear against SMU, winning 6-1 on the road.
