Golf Season Extended, For Now

DULUTH, Minn. — What a glorious sun-filled day with the high temperature reaching the low 50s in Duluth. For many people that could mean only one thing – it was time to play golf again!

Grand View Golf Link in Duluth heard that cry and has re-opened the course. With high temperatures later this week expected to reach the mid to upper 50s, they are planning to stay open through Thursday.

Chris Klatte, the owner of Grad View Golf said,” The golf course is in great shape, the ground is soft, the grass is green. Give it a week from now it’s probably gonna be all hard, frozen, and gearing up for snow blowing and snow plowing.”

Based on the weather forecast Grand View Golf is hoping, that the weatherman is right and there’s no snow for the next few days.  Golf carts are being allowed on the course and there’s a special rate for the week.  Reservations can be made online or at the pro shop.
