Super One Foods Donation Provides 145,000 Meals To Families In Need

DULUTH, Minn. — In a generous donation from Super One Foods, over 145,000 meals will be provided to families, children, and seniors this holiday season.

Super One donated $48,457.94 to Second Harvest Northern Lakes Food Bank. The effort in part of its Bag Hunger Campaign where customers at stores in Northeast Minnesota and Northwest Wisconsin rounded up or donated a few dollars during the month of October.

“This year in particular we added the ability for our customers to be able to donate at the actual check lanes. Above and beyond selling food donation bags that we provided in the past,” said Patrick Miner, President of Miner’s Inc.

Super One has been a long-time partner in Second Harvest’s work with hunger relief. They reached out to Second Harvest to make this donation take place.
