Bentleyville Stays Open Late for Special “After Hours” Event

DULUTH, Minn. — For its 20th season, Bentleyville is changing things up to celebrate the holidays.

For the first time ever, Bentleyville is hosted a special “After Hours” event Friday night.

Everyone ages 21 and older could purchase a wristband and take a walk through the “Tour of Lights” while enjoying an alcoholic beverage.

Different artists will be taking stage on weekdays at Bentleyville. Singer Chris Hawkey performed Friday, singing his own songs, and even some Christmas ones.

“When you’ve been doing this now for 20 years, you always try to come up with new ideas and when the idea came up with Bell Bank to bring Chris Hawkey, which they sponsored here tonight, we started throwing other ideas around and thought, you know lets make a whole night out of it and lets stay open until 11 and have a little extra party going on,” said Nathan Bentley, Mayor of Bentleyville.

So if you’re looking to get a jumpstart on that Christmas cheer, head down to Bentleyville.
