Warm December In Duluth? Time For A Dip!

DULUTH, Minn. — Well one local really took advantage of the warmer temps Thursday, she swam in Lake Superior!

Brenna Jordan, a Duluth resident is used to jumping in the cold lake, but days like this make it a lot easier.

She says getting outside is great for you physically and mentally and encourages everyone to take advantage of the warm weather before winter really kicks in.

“Getting outside I think it helps you in every single area of your life. And especially now with just the challenges people face. It’s something that you can do for yourself to help yourself heal in many areas of your life,” said Brenna, along with her husband Brent.

Some Duluthians were out walking their dog on what they called a perfect Duluth day. And although they are happy with the weather, there are conflicted feelings as they love the winter activities Minnesota has to offer.

“I think you gotta enjoy the sunshine while we have it. Snow is going to come, hopefully it comes a bit sooner, but I think it’ll be here shortly, and we’ll be out skiing and enjoying winter activities hopefully very soon ‘soon enough’,” said Andre Watt and Janna Radtke, Duluth residents.

The two even did a snow dance in hopes the flurries come soon.
