Santas Cross the Finish Line in Wild Santa Run
DULUTH, Minn. — Well, Santa Claus came to town Saturday, actually hundreds of Santas—for the annual Wild Santa Run at Wild State Cider.
The Santas took over the Lincoln Park Craft District for the annual 5k that sees hundreds of runners every year, each one dressed as good ole’ Saint nick.
Despite it raining during the last leg of the race, many Santas said the suit kept them warm as they dashed onwards.
Santas kept up the holiday cheer throughout the race, and especially when they crossed the finish line.
“It was fantastic, you’re running down the road and you see Santas everywhere in front of you, around you, behind you,” said a runner from Milltown Milers running group.
The run kicked off the Lincoln Park Holiday Market, where local businesses came together to host holiday fun.
The spirt of Christmas doesn’t end this weekend in the Craft District. 25 businesses will be participating in Holiday Bingo giving out prize packs each day until December 19th.
