‘Hairball’ Coming to Black Bear; Vocalist Drew Hart Wowed By Age Range Of Fans
Hairball, one of the most popular tribute bands in America, is hitting the big, big stage this New Year’s Eve, performing at half-time at U.S. Bank Stadium for the Minnesota Vikings vs. Green Bay Packers game.
But before that, Hairball is headed back to Black Bear Casino this Friday to perform.
Drew Hart, one of the lead vocalist for Hairball, took some time Tuesday to talk about the upcoming performance.
If you are living under a rock, the band jams out to all the greatest rock-and-roll hits like Def Leppard, Guns n’ Roses, Kiss, Bon Jovi, queen and so many more.
Hart has been with Hairball for one year. He said he was shocked to look out into the audience at one of the shows to see so many young fans in their teens and early 20s.
“I thought to myself, none of you were born even close to when these were made. How do you know? You’re are all singing the words back to us. And it’s just people like you, or people like me, that have had kids that have raised them on that generation of music. It just always strikes me. I wish that I was a billionaire so I could fund a study to figure out what it was about the 80s and that music that just transformed so many people’s lives and continues to affect everybody the way that it does,” Hart explained.
Hart has performed in bands like Motley Crue, Van Halen, and Guns N Roses.
Hairball takes the stage at Black Bear Friday, Dec. 15, at 7 p.m. Click here for ticket information.
