Chisholm Screening

CHISHOLM, Minn. — A celebration of films and television programming, all produced in the city, is taking place Thursday. The pilot for the comedy Canusa Street was among those filmed in Chisholm.

Things kick off at the Minnesota Discovery Center. It is billed as the first-ever “Made in Chisholm Film Screening.”

In addition to Canusa Street, three films produced in the city are also being shown. The doors open at 5:30 p.m., and the first screening will be at 6:15 p.m.

After each film there will be a Q and A with producers and directors. The Upper Midwest Film Office estimates that $70,000 was spent in Chisholm during work on Canusa Street. That includes things like lodging, catering, and rentals.
