Single-Vehicle Crash in Grand Rapids due to Intense Fog

GRAND RAPIDS, Minn. — Two people were hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries in Grand Rapids after crashing due to dense fog.

According to Minnesota State Patrol, it happened around 5:00 pm Friday evening.

A pickup truck was traveling westbound on Highway 169 on Harristown Road when it couldn’t negotiate a stop sign due to fog.

The driver passed the stop sign and went into the ditch, where the vehicle then struck ditch embankment.

No one was seriously injured.
