Portman Hockey Great Skate Postponed Again Due to Lack of Ice

DULUTH, Minn. — After already being rescheduled once already, the 2nd Annual Portman Great Skate is being postponed again due to lack of ice.

The Portman Great Skate, put on by the Portman Amateur Hockey Association, was originally set for December 16th.

After warm temps halted ice making for the rinks, it was postponed to a later date, and now the Great Skate once again has another new date, set for January 12th.

The event is the largest fundraiser of the season for Portman hockey, who hope to raise 10,000 dollars to cover various expenses.
