Prep Hoops: Northwestern Boys’ Streak Snapped, Superior Girls Stand Tall
Tigers' first Heart O' North loss this season
MAPLE, Wis.- The Northwestern boys’ basketball team had a hard time stopping the Cameron Comets as they lost 91-66 Thursday night.
The Tigers entered the game on a six-game winning streak and were 6-0 against Heart O’ North opponents. Cameron’s win now puts the Comets at 6-1 in the conference and 10-1 overall.
Meanwhile, the Superior girls’ basketball team won their second game in three days, taking down Rice Lake 51-44. The Spartans are now 9-6 overall on the season while Rice Lake drops to 11-3.
