Brides and Grooms Plan for the Big Day at the 36th Annual Duluth Wedding Show

DULUTH, Minn. — Planning a wedding can be a big and overwhelming task.

Wherever you are in the planning process– whether you’re just starting, or putting on the finishing details, the Duluth Wedding Show had everything you need for your perfect day.

“I love that we have this entire area to showcase so many great vendors, so brides can come and know that there are people here today wanting to help them plan the greatest day of their life,” said Kynze Lundeen, Event Organizer and Lundeen Productions Vice President

The wedding show has a 36-year history, and according to the organizer Lundeen Productions, this year’s show was the biggest yet.

The show had over 130 vendors, from wedding planners, caterers, photographers and plenty more.

“I love working with brides and grooms. It’s so fun to see their love come together, see their families come together,”

Throughout his 15-year career, Photographer Andrew Samplawski has traveled across the country for weddings.

But the photographer says one of his favorite things is to meet future clients in person at the Duluth show and show off his work.

“You get to see a full wedding. Whether it’s a dark wedding venue, you get to see the true lighting, you get to see DJ up-lighting, you get to see those dance pictures. You get to see everything here at the show working with us because we have those full albums,” said Samplawski.

“And then from there we can continue to connect and talk about timelines and all of those extra things,” said Samplawski.

This year a “Lovers Lounge” was added, where brides and grooms could check out table decorations.

“We just love to see how much this community loves to be at this event. It’s really a perfect day for anyone planning any type of event. And to showcase so many wonderful local and regional vendors is just something that’s so awesome,” said Lundeen.

A fashion show was also held this year, where models showed off dresses and tuxes to the audience.
