UMD Dance Team Places at Nationals for 2nd Straight Year
The Bulldogs would place 2nd in the open jazz category and 3rd in the open pom category.
DULUTH, Minn.- The UMD dance team came home with some hardware after placing on the podium at Nationals this past weekend.
The Bulldogs would place 2nd in the open jazz category and 3rd in the open pom category.
This is the 2nd year in a row that UMD has taken home medals in both categories.
It was a solid showing for all Minnesota schools that competed.
The University of Minnesota, Mankato, St. Thomas, St. Cloud State, and St. Ben’s would all compete in the finals.
The Gophers would win the pom category and the Mavericks would take top honors for jazz and pom.
