Duluth Police Respond To Armed Robbery At Kenwood Walgreens

DULUTH, Minn. — Duluth police responded to a report of an armed robbery around 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Kenwood neighborhood Walgreens.

When officers arrived to the store in the 1600 block of Kenwood Avenue, employees told police an individual “brandished a firearm and demanded money,” according to a news release.

Police said an employee gave an “undetermined amount of cash” to the suspect who then took off from the scene.

As of 10:30 p.m., police were searching for the suspect and reviewing security cameras to help in the investigation.

Nobody was injured.

This armed robbery comes just two days after police said a suspect approached a victim in the Walgreens parking lot on East Superior Street, showed a knife and then allegedly took off with $2.
