Super One Donates Over $100,000 To The Salvation Army

DULUTH, Minn. — Super One is donating over $100,000 to the Salvation Army thanks to their Roundup Campaign.

During the 2023 holiday season customers at 42 Super One locations were able to donate rounding up their transaction or donating $1, $3, or $5 when checking out.

On top of the generous donation, Miner’s Inc. is also donating 50-thousand dollars as part of their annual Miner’s Match.

The money will go back toward helping the communities in the area they were donated to. The Duluth Salvation Army is thankful for all of the support.

“A little bit has gone a long way in all of these communities, so just thank you to everyone who’s like “you know 5 cents round up doesn’t mean a lot” but when thousands of people do it, it becomes tremendous,” said Captain Anthony Nordin, Duluth Salvation Army.

The President of Miner’s Inc. says he looks forward to continuing working with The Salvation Army.

“Our history with supporting The Salvation Army goes back decades and they do a tremendous job not only providing support for people, when they need just a helping hand, but they also provide great opportunity and support to find a more successful path for them if they need those resources,” said Patrick Miner, President of Miner’s Inc.

The donations made it possible for The Salvation Army to make their 2023 Red Kettle Season goal.
