Local Quilt Shop Celebrates New Location In Duluth

DULUTH, Minn. — A quilt shop in Duluth is celebrating their move into a new space.

Creations Quilt Shop, now located at 1731 West Superior Street is owned by a mother and her daughter.
It is an all-inclusive space with many fun and affordable options.

The new spot will provide an enhanced experience for quilting enthusiasts, as well as a classroom, where they’ll be able to offer classes.

Customers can find fabrics, thread patterns, long-arm quilting services, and any supplies or accessories you may need. Co-owner Melissa Metzer says coming to work does not feel like it’s a retail store, she loves collaborating with people.

“So, it just really is kind of just the biggest honor. I’m just so astounded that we get to do that, and that people trust our opinions cause that’s all it is at the end of the day right? Is an opinion. And we just really try to encourage everybody wherever you’re at that you can figure it out. You know?” said Melissa Metzer, co-owner of Creations Quilt Shop.

To celebrate the grand re-opening Saturday Creations Quilt Shop is offering a 15% discount all day, you can also enter for prize and grab a treat. They’ll be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
