Superior Fire Department Tackles Two House Fires
SUPERIOR, Wis. — The Superior Fire Department battled two structure fires Saturday Morning.
Just before 8:00 a.m., fire crews responded to a residential structure fire at 708 Winter St.
Crews remained on scene until 2:00 p.m. and were able to stop the fire from spreading to neighboring houses, but the home itself was deemed a total loss.
There were no injuries and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
Town of Superior Fire, Parkland Fire, Superior Police Department, Superior Public Works, Mayo Ambulance Service, and Superior Water, Light, and Power all assisted at the fire.
While crews battle the fire on Winter St, the Superior Fire Department responded to another residential structure fire located at 611 Fisher Ave at 8:20 a.m.
Crews remained at this scene until 1:00 p.m.
There were no injuries to the public or firefighters, however, one cat perished in the fire.
The home is a total loss and the cause remains under investigation.
Duluth Fire Department, Town of Superior Fire, Parkland Fire, Superior Police Department, Superior Public Works, Mayo Ambulance Service, and Superior Water, Light, and Power assisted at the fire.
