President Biden To Visit Superior Thursday, 2nd Time Since In Office

SUPERIOR, Wis. – President Biden is returning to Superior later this week.
The White House announced Monday that the President will be visiting the city on Thursday, January 25. The purpose of the visit is to “discuss how his Bidenomics and Investing in America Agenda are rebuilding our infrastructure, lowering costs, spurring a small business boom, and creating good-paying jobs.”
Exact details were not released as of early Monday afternoon.
This will be President Biden’s second visit to Superior since taking office. His first came on March 2, 2022. That visit saw him view the Blatnik Bridge and promote his infrastructure legislation with a speech at UW-Superior’s Yellowjacket Union.
The announcement of the President’s visit comes on the same day the federal government awarded Wisconsin and Minnesota with $1.05-billion to go towards the replacement of the Blatnik Bridge.
