Local Duluth Woman Writes Self-Help Book On Love
DULUTH, Minn. — A local Duluth woman is giving her advice on love by writing a book.
Suck Less at Love: She Said, He Said Advice on Relationships by Cyndi Lewis will be making its debut Thursday, January 25th. Lewis says she found herself giving the same advice over and over again and one morning came up with the idea.
The book took her just over a month to write. Each chapter is conversational with Lewis’s advice, and an interview with her husband’s blunt perspective.
Here’s a sneak peak of what you might learn from the book.
“If you would do your own work on you. Make sure you’re like mentally and emotionally healthy and that you’ve detached yourself from the other traumas. And then you do your work and see what it is that you really need to be happy and then you look for just that and you don’t settle. That’s a key thing that people don’t want to do. Because you have to look at yourself and I don’t think that people are comfortable doing that,” said author Cyndi Lewis.
The book will be available on Amazon and Barnes and Noble’s website on the 25th. A launch party will also take place March 2nd at Blackwoods on London Road from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Follow the Facebook page, Cyndi Lewis, Author for fun behind the scenes posts.
