Spirit Mountain After-School Program Makes Winter Sports ‘Fun and Affordable’

Kids from 3rd to 12th grade had the chance to ski and snowboard

DULUTH, Minn. — The Snow Club Program is officially underway at Spirit Mountain!

The after-school program is designed to make skiing and snowboarding fun, safe, and affordable. Kids from the ages of seven to twelve are invited to take part in the three-week program, regardless of ability on the slopes.

“My favorite part: going outside skiing or snowboarding with them,” said Snow Club Coordinator Kari Miller. “Seeing them being successful, seeing them smile and actually try hard at something, work hard, and be able to get on the big hills eventually.”

Roughly 60,000 students have taken part in Spirit Mountain’s after-school programs and it’s not too late to sign up! Snow Club Session Two will start in February and spots are still open, according to Spirit Mountain.
