Prep Basketball: Duluth Marshall Girls Stay at Top of Conference, Hermantown Boys Bounce Back

DULUTH, Minn.- The Duluth Marshall girls basketball team faced a tough test on Thursday night facing Cloquet.
In the end though, the Hilltoppers would defeat the Lumberjacks 77 to 73.
Duluth Marshall is now 7-1 in Lake Superior conference play. They’ll next be at International Falls on Saturday.
In boys action, Hermantown would get back in the win column, topping Duluth Marshall 96 to 84.
Brooks Johnson’s team may have not come away with the win. But, he did reach 2,000 career points in the contest. He had 50 points in the game.
The Hawks (12-6) will next host Grand Rapids on February 1st.
