Coffee Conversation: New Series Highlights the Impact of Aging Loved Ones on Duluth Families

DULUTH, Minn. — Local families in Duluth are the subject of a new television series, Inside Senior Living, taking viewers on an intimate journey into the lives of seniors and their loves ones as they navigate the process of aging and make decisions about living arrangements.

Creator and Executive Director Melissa Fritz joined FOX21 on the morning newscast to talk about the purpose of this series, her personal experience in the senior living industry and her own struggle which began when her father was diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimer’s dementia.

Fritz and her team are still looking for two families to join the series; particularly a family with a Veteran and a family with a male caregiver. Click here for more information.

Filming will begin in February and conclude sometime in June. It is set to air on PBS North around Thanksgiving of 2024 and then go national next January.
