Duluth Police Respond To Report Of Stabbing
DULUTH, Minn. — An alleged stabbing took place Tuesday night leaving one person in the hospital.
The Duluth Police Department says at 9 p.m. they responded to a report of a stabbing at Chum. The victim, a 37-year-old man had a minor stab wound to his elbow and was transported to a local hospital.
Police say at the same time when this call occurred, officers responded to suspicious activity in the 100 block of Mesaba Avenue. Authorities found a blood trail in the area and after initial investigation found that is where the man was originally stabbed. Police say he was involved in an altercation with a known party.
This remains an active and ongoing investigation as police have not found a suspect or knife yet.
