IF4 Brings the Big Catch to the Big Screen

DULUTH, Minn. — You can’t get much more Minnesotan than this. The International Fly Fishing Film Festival returned to Duluth for their sixth year. Although anglers looked forward to some big catches on the big screen, there’s a much more broader impact that this film festival leaves on our local water ways.

“It’s a big fundraising event for both Gitche Gumee Trout Unlimited and for Arrowhead Fly Fishers,” said the President of Arrowhead Fly Fisher Claudia Berguson. “We serve both northwest Wisconsin and northeast Minnesota as Arrowhead Fly Fishers. So when we have the fundraising and all of these wonderful donations. The money that we have goes towards conservation.”

“We welcome anybody that is interested in the outdoors to come down and help us support,” said Chapter President of Gitche Gumee Trout Unlimited Brandon Kime.
