Dexter the Bipedal Dog Visits Duluth Sport Show
Dexter is taking it one step at a time and inspiring others to do the same

DULUTH, Minn — This weekend at the Duluth Sport Show you can meet a viral dog who has been taking the Internet by storm — on only two legs!
Dexter the Brittany Spaniel has over a million followers on TikTok. What makes Dexter such a good boy? The pup from Ouray, Colorado gained fans around the world with his unique walk and ‘inspiring’ story. When Dexter was a puppy, he escaped his yard and ran into traffic. His owner, Kentee Pasek, got him wheelchair, but Dexter had a different idea.
“We thought we would have a typical tripod, but along the way as he was healing, he figured out how to walk upright himself and he became a bipedal,” Pasek said. “So I have the footage here of him walking upright, up the porch stairs, the first time he did this to me after all of his surgeries. He figured out how to walk and to move, the humans were too slow taking care of him.”
Dexter is used the the spotlight, with features on CBS, BBC, and even an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. The celebrity pup will be back at the Sport Show for five more meet and greets this weekend.
