UMD Men’s Hockey Receives Commitment from NAHL Goalie Klayton Knapp

Knapp has recorded five shutouts in 21 regular season games for Bismarck so far this year.

DULUTH, Minn.- The UMD men’s hockey team will soon have a new goalie joining the team.

On Wednesday, Klayton Knapp of the Bismarck Bobcats, who are based out of the NAHL, announced he’ll join the Bulldogs next season.

Knapp has recorded five shutouts in 21 regular season games for Bismarck so far this year.

At the NAHL Showcase last week, Knapp stopped all 27 shots he saw and had a shutout in net for Team Central’s first game of the event.
